Object Journeys is a project providing opportunities for communities to work intimately with collections and staff at the British Museum and three partner museums.
Part of the Heritage Lottery funded World Conservation and Exhibitions Centre (WCEC) Activity Plan programme Object Journeys facilitates with community partners to explore and research parts of the collection in a new and innovative way.

what did we do?
Sensitive to the existing brand of the British Museum we developed a blog website that is functional, beautiful and easy to edit. This was an interesting project in that not only had the website to comply with British Museum brand but it was also important to reflect the individual nature of the communities and projects involved. To resolve this we used coloured tabs to denote the various communities involved in the project became a key part of the design making it clear to the user where hey are on the website at all times.
